  • Maintenance Team Member

    We are now accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Team Member.
    Duties involve general camp maintenance, vehicle repair, grounds, as well as assisting with recreation as needed.

    Requirements:
    • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to serve others
    • Must be friendly and able to work well with others
    • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
    • Must possess valid California driver’s license and be insurable
    • Must be physically able to perform assigned duties

    Detail of Responsibilities:

    A. Maintenance
        1. Vehicle Repair; preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, general mechanical repair
        2. Groundskeeping; mowing lawns, raking needles, etc.
        3. Cleaning of camp; pick up trash, blowing and snow removal
        4. Assist with projects that could include automotive repair, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing
        5. Firewood; cutting, splitting, and hauling
        6. Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment

    B. Recreation
        1. Assist with recreation as needed: climbing wall, vertigo, archery, extreme swing, paintball and zipline

    C. Accommodation
        1. Assist with turnover, camp startup and shut down
        2. Assist with special projects

    D. Complete all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

  • Maintenance Coordinator

    Hartland is now accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Coordinator. This position includes assisting the Maintenance Manager with the oversight of all operations of physical plant including maintenance and repair of all buildings and systems. Applicants must have personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to serve others, be organized and able to oversee multiple tasks and work crews, friendly and able to work well with others, be a self-starter, able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, ability to lead work crews and physical ability to perform assigned duties.
    Must have experience in several of the following areas:
    • Groundskeeping
    • Utility systems (water, sewer, electrical, HVAC)
    • Painting
    • Construction and repair/renovation of buildings, both new and existing
    • Tree felling experience
    • Heavy equipment
    • Vehicle and equipment maintenance

    Includes salary, housing, insurance and other benefits.

    Must be U.S. Citizen

    For those with children, our remote location necessitates the need to home educate.
