Camp Wortman

The Camp Wortman facility is located just to the south of Hartland Christian Camp’s main campus and is adjacent to Hartland's original 320-acre property.  It offers a rustic option for those who prefer tent camping and the ability to prepare their own meals.  It is roughly 80 acres with a creek, trails to explore, and great views of the valley.

Originally a boy scout camp, Hartland acquired this property in July of 2020.  As we continue to improve the property, updates will be made available here.

The Lodge:  The Lodge provides dining space for up to 60 people indoors, and an additional 24 on the attached covered deck area.

Kitchen: If renting the Lodge, the kitchen facility is also available for use by your group.  It has running water, one standard refrigerator/freezer combo (similar to a home unit), a six-burner stove, a small griddle, and broiler.  There are also shelves and counter space for use and storage of materials.

Campsites: There are 17 rustic style small and large group campsites.  Camp sites are equipped with fire pits and picnic tables.

Picnic Area: Picnic tables are located near the Lodge, with seating for approximately 60 people.

Restrooms: The Lodge has one flush toilet and two shower stalls located in the southwest corner of the building.
There are twin toilet facilities located on the dirt road just north of the Lodge.  There are twin showers and another twin toilet facility near the Archery area, along the dirt road that leads to the north of camp.
Between these facilities, there are a combined total of four showers and five flush toilets.  One recommendation is to make the northern facilities available to your men and the south facilities available for your women if you have a blended group.
