Luke Lyons

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, where I spent the first 25 years of my life, before moving to San Luis Obispo, California, in 2021. I’ve served as the Worship Pastor at SLO City Church since then, and I’ve had the privilege of leading worship for this young church plant of 6 years in a parking lot, abandoned office building, shared event center, and now an old gym at an adult school. I love spending time outside, whether running, hiking, cycling, paddleboarding, or just about anything else. I’m also an avid sports fan, primarily of the Kentucky Wildcats (basketball and football), Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Braves. In October of this past year, I married an amazing woman named Abby, and we’re stoked to start our marriage with an amazing church community here in the Central Coast, with our two adorable cats, Squid and Mochi.
