Special Projects

Hartland is focusing on micro-projects to help improve our campus and our overall guest experience.

Would you prayerfully consider joining with others to support one or more of these exciting new projects? 100% of your donation will be dedicated to the projects below. All funds donated over and above the current project will be moved to the next project in line.

Working together, we can accomplish far more than on our own.

Project 1: Internship Books
Donation Goal: $502.17

Scope: Hartland’s 9-month internship program starts September 1st. This a no-cost program for participants. Donations will cover all of the books needed for the program, which will be loaned to the students, and retained for the next class.

Project 2: Outdoor Seating Tables

Scope: Hartland has completed the new outdoor seating area outside of the dining hall and is looking to raise donations to purchase tables with benches. Would you consider helping towards this goal?

Project 3: 2025 Kayaks for summer

Scope: Last season we were able to add 6 more kayaks to our arsenal, and we’re hoping to add even more ahead of summer. We don’t charge campers to use our boats, which can be used from May through October of each year. Help us get campers outside and active during their stay!

Project 4: Camp Wortman Campus Improvements
Donation Goal: $9,000

Scope: Hartland is looking to purchase (3) 15 foot bleachers for the Camp Wortman facility campfire area. This will allow a gathering locations for groups near the lodge and around the fire pit.

Camp Wortman New Oven/Griddle/Burner Combo – fully funded by the Hartland Ladies Auxiliary!

Z-Tag – fully funded! (Huge thank you to the Hartland Ladies Auxiliary!)

Carpet Ball and additional Gaga Ball pits – fully funded!

Dining Hall Outdoor Seating Conversion – Complete!

Project 5: Outdoor Chapel Expansion
Donation Goal: $12,000
Total Estimated Project Cost: $12,000+.
Recommended donation share: $50-$1,000
Total Funded to date: $3200/$12,000
Scope: This project includes adding around 100 additional bleacher seats to the outdoor chapel. This will be in service for our 2025 Sponsored Summer Camps and the project is currently underway.
