Special Projects

Hartland is focusing on micro-projects to help improve our campus and our overall guest experience.

Would you prayerfully consider joining with others to support one or more of these exciting new projects? 100% of your donation will be dedicated to the projects below. All funds donated over and above the current project will be moved to the next project in line.

A good pastor-friend of mine once told me to never hinder or prevent someone from giving towards something they want to be a part of. It is in that vein that we list several of our ongoing projects here at camp, in the hopes that others will catch that same vision and want to be a part of what we do here at camp. These projects are aimed at more effectively serving the churches who utilize our campus in sharing the Gospel of Christ with their guests.

Working together, we can accomplish far more than on our own.

Project 1: Internship Program
Donation Goal: $20,000
Total Estimated Project Cost: $20,000
Recommended donation share: $50-$500
Total Funded to date: $0
Scope: Would you consider donating to offset the costs associated with our 9-month Bible Internship Program? This year we are feeding and housing 6 total interns while working to develop their understanding of the Bible and how they can serve Christ well. We do not charge interns for participating in the program. A donation of any amount will help ensure we can continue and even expand this program into the future.

Project 2: Old Dining Hall Conversion
Donation Goal: $12,500
Total Estimated Project Cost: $12,500
Recommended donation share: $100-$2,500 (example picture only)
Total Funded to date: $0
Scope: As Hartland works to finish its new Dining Hall/Chapel construction, we’re beginning the first phase process and preparations for converting the old dining hall into 2 new meeting spaces/chapels. There are several smaller parts of this project we can start soon which will allow Hartland to serve more churches at a time and to offer additional spaces to better meet their needs while here.

Project 3: Camp Wortman Upgrades
Donation Goal: $8,500
Total Estimated Project Cost: $8,500
Recommended donation share: $50-$1,000
Total Funded to date: $0
Scope: The Camp Wortman facility remains as our heavily subsidized, low-cost tent-camping option in order to serve more churches through the ministry of Hartland. We hope to expand the existing lodge restrooms to hold 3 toilets and 3 showers and increase outdoor seating, which will increase our overall capacity to serve at this facility.

Project 4: Outdoor Gathering Spaces
Donation Goal: $5,500
Total Estimated Project Cost: $5,500
Recommended donation share: $50-$1,000
Total Funded to date: $0
Scope: We are looking to increase our outdoor gathering areas so that churches can utilize more areas for breakouts and open-air Bible studies. There’s something unique about being out in God’s creation and gathering with others. From campfires to “So What” time with cabin leaders, we’d love to create more spaces to bond together.
