Pond

Hartland has a seasonal pond which is available for boating and fishing by registered guests. Often the pond is filled sometime in April and drained around September 30th. At times, Cal Fire may ask us to hold water further into the fire season but this cannot be guaranteed. Please check for pond availability and note that the pond may be drained for things outside of Hartland’s control. Paddle boats and kayaks are provided at no cost for both church rental groups and Hartland-Sponsored events. Fish are stocked several times a year. A California Fishing License is required for those over the age of 16. From time to time, Hartland may need to drain the pond for repairs or safety reasons.
