Thank you for your interest in part-time employment at Hartland Christian Camp. Working at camp can be one of the most fulfilling jobs you'll ever experience. Positions will be posted here as they become available. We believe that every member of our staff plays a critically-important role as a partner in the ministry of Hartland.   • Seasonal Maintenance Worker

    We are now accepting applications for a seasonal Maintenance Team Member.

    This position begins ASAP and ends November 10th, 2019. The job pays $12/hr and entails 8hr/day and 40hr/week. Lodging and most meals are included. Duties involve general camp maintenance, grounds, cutting/splitting firewood, as well as assisting with recreation as needed.

    Requirements:
    • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to serve others
    • Must be friendly and able to work well with others
    • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
    • Must possess valid California driver’s license and be insurable
    • Must be physically able to perform assigned duties

    Time Seasonal - August through November 10th

  • Weekend Workers

    Description:
    During the fall, winter, and spring seasons, Hartland provides weekend employment in the areas of Food Service, Maintenance, and Accommodations. These positions are on an as-needed basis and are primarily designed for those living within relatively close proximity to Hartland. Transportation to and from camp is the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner, willing to do multiple assignments and possess a Christ-like customer service mindset.

    Current CA food handler card (if serving in Food Service)
