Every week at Hartland, children and young people hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ — many of them for the first time. A good number of them are only here because someone covered the cost of their camp. In 2026 alone, Hartland gave out more than $200,000 in camp scholarships and we wrote off the rest, because we believe a family’s ability to pay should never decide whether a child hears the Gospel.
Real Life Givers are the people who make that possible all year long — not with one gift once in a while, but with a steady monthly partnership that camp can count on in every season. We use monthly support to carry on the mission and it is the very reason we can get more kids to camp, even when our scholarship fund depletes.
When Paul thanked the Philippians for standing with him, he said something surprising: “Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account” (Philippians 4:17, NKJV). That’s how we think about monthly giving. It’s something for you, not from you — fruit abounding to your account, while a child hears the Gospel who otherwise never would.
The early church had a rhythm for this kind of partnership: “On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper” (1 Corinthians 16:2, NKJV). A little, laid aside regularly, on purpose. That is Real Life Givers.
What your monthly partnership does in a practical way:
- $25 a month — can send one kid to camp this year
- $50 a month — can send two kids to camp this year
- $100 a month — can send four kids to camp this year
- $250 a month — can send ten kids to camp this year
Every level is the same partnership. Choose the amount the Lord lays on your heart, and change or pause it at any time. Hartland uses our General Fund Donations to carry out camp operations and help more campers hear the life-saving message of the Gospel.
Partners, not just givers
As a Real Life Giver, you’re part of the work, and we want you close to it:
- Hartland Family Preview Day — monthly partners giving $25 a month or more attend this Preview Day event free each year, and may bring up to 10 guests. Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors — let them see camp for themselves.
- The monthly partner letter — every month, a real story from camp, one specific thing to pray for, and a report on what partners are accomplishing together.
- A standing reminder to pray — your monthly gift is also your monthly reminder to pray for the youth of the Central Valley. We give monthly, and we pray regularly.
Building a team of 50
We’re building a team of at least 50 monthly partners by the end of 2027 — fifty households standing behind every season of camp, so that no child is ever turned away for lack of funds. Will you be one of them?

2) Call Judy at 559-337-2349 ext 103 and she can set you up for recurring giving over the phone, most days Mon-Fri between 8:30am-4:30pm
3) Set up a monthly gift from your bank or adviser fund automatic billpay or grant requests. Follow their instructions and make payments to:

Hartland Christian Camp is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Gifts are received with the agreement that the Ministry maintains full administrative discretion and control over the distribution of contributed funds.
