Make no mistake about it men, this is not men’s retreat... it’s MAN CAMP!

Eat man food, play man games, laugh at man humor, shoot things, and most importantly, learn about being a man with a clear, unwavering purpose.
Man Camp at Hartland Christian Camp in Central California is a wonderful opportunity for men to focus on God and their ministry in the context of fellowship with other like-minded men. Enjoy interesting and practical seminars, solid biblical teaching, small group discussion times and lots of exciting recreational activities. This is the perfect event to invite your friends and co-workers. They’ll hear what being a Christ follower is all about and they’ll have an absolute BLAST!

Potato cannons!!!
Build your own potato cannon this year prior to Man Camp. Bring it with you and participate in our potato gun show. You're aiming for an 8'x8' target at 75 yards. Prizes will be awarded.

    Mark is the Vice President of Outreach at Living Waters, based out of Los Angeles, CA. He cohosts the television program “The Way of the Master,” alongside Ray Comfort where he engages skeptics and equips Christians in evangelism and apologetics. Mark is the Producer and Editor of several Living Waters films. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Arrive at camp between 4:00 and 6:00 pm on Friday.
Camp ends after lunch on Sunday.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Man Card
  • Warm clothing for evenings
  • Good walking/hiking shoes
  • "Grubbies" (clothes that can get dirty if you decide to play paintball)
  • Jacket, sweatshirt, etc.
  • Bible
  • Pen or pencil

  • Earplugs (if your roommates snore)

  • Stuffed animals
  • Jammies with vinyl feet
  • Potpourri
  • Craft or scrapbooking supplies
  • Little gift bags to hand out to friends

  • Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor)

Registration includes two nights lodging, meals, program, and recreation.

*Note: Due to limited housing for this event, Hartland reserves the option of placing multiple guests in rooms where space is available.

A non-refundable deposit of $40 will hold your reservation.

Registration includes dinner on Friday through brunch on Sunday, program and all recreation activities.
 
In order to receive a group discount, we will require a minimum of seven (7) individuals and a guarantee of ½ the maximum occupancy for each room you would like to reserve. In other words, if a single room has a maximum occupancy of 8 people, we will require a minimum guarantee of 4 people in order to reserve that room. 

How it works

Our part:

We give you a discounted rate for each camper. Plus, each camper free access to all recreation activities. We provide you with access to Hartland's online registration system. This easy-to-use system streamlines the process of registering campers, sending confirmation notices, and creating rosters (paper forms also available). We also provide you with a free promotional video, posters, bulletin inserts, and flyers to get the word out.

Your Part:

  1. You decide how many camper spots you want to reserve and submit your request below.
  2. You secure the spots by signing a contract and making a deposit of $40 per camper
  3. You collect the completed registrations and money from your campers.
  4. 2 weeks prior to camp, you give Hartland one check for the balance of the camp fees due, cabin assignment sheets, completed medical forms, and volunteer counselor applications.
